Soon after Mumbai was released from the siege of terror, filmmakers registered nearly 20 titles which dealt with this horrendous subject. Tragedies are 'masala', they sell like hot cakes and this was proven when the first title was submitted when the fierce firefight between 10 gunmen and NSG was still going on. Filmmaker B Subhash who went ahead with titles 'Taj to Oberoi' and 'Bird's Point of View Taj Terror' says he wants Bollywood's top notch actors to be part of his movie.
Shahrukh Khan might play Late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in B Subhash's movie on Mumbai terror attacks called 'Taj to Oberoi'. If things go as planned, John Abraham might play the role of an NSG commando whose strategies helped neutralise the terrorists and Mithun Chakrobarty as NSG Chief JK Dutt.
The films shooting is due to start in January.This emotional story would highlight the pain attacks caused to the people and the sense of unity that was brought about.
